Our client has successfully managed a ground breaking network consolidation programme between some of the top providers. They now have the world’s largest known active 3G network consolidation agreement in place and yet further plans to deliver significant improvements in quality and coverage, whilst accelerating the provision of new high-speed mobile broadband services.
This increased level of growth and activity means that they are now looking to recruit a Contracts Manager with Telecoms experience, together with the ability to: manage high value contracts effectively; develop vendor strategies; move relationships forward with suppliers through innovation, cost savings, or by delivering total cost solutions.
You will also:
Manage, develop and implement vendor strategies for key suppliers.
Negotiate and manage new or contract extensions, delivering best value back to the business.
Track the performance of suppliers against key contractual KPIs, ensuring that the suppliers are delivering on all fronts.
Manage the needs of key stakeholders to ensure that the full provision of performance information is available to measure and monitor supplier performance and which is subsequently fed into governance structures.
Take ownership for the resolution of contractual disputes.
Support governance meetings in line with the contract and ensure actions are agreed and carried out.
Ensure all contract costs are tracked for opex and capex creating and utilising clear communication channels with Finance teams and key shareholders when required.
You will need:
Strong commercial experience, together with very good influencing and negotiation skills
First class supplier management and contract management skills
To be able to communicate effectively at all levels and across all disciplines in an organisation
Degree and / or procurement / contract management professional qualification
Understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L principles
Understanding of telecoms industry and supply base
